recently, Philippines was disturbed by a monstrous storm which led to a week long rainy days and almost a week of suspension of classes that includes all levels, from nursery to college! first, I thought it was gonna be fun, but then it became a problem ( a big problem) to all my fellow Filipinos, most of the places in Metro Manila shrunk in the flood. Philippines was then again attacked by a huge force of nature's anger.
Many of my countrymen lost their homes, family, friends, and even their lives at that time of calamity.
then it came to me, even though the "super typhoon" ondoy didn't cause damage at the place where I live and stayed during that time, it was a hell for me, i can sleep. the storm keeps disturbing me while I'm trying to get some sleep. the sound of thunder keeps on waking me up. 'nuf said.
it was one hell of a weekend. for me, and for the Philippines.
